If you connect a social media account, Languages With Rick may store and use the tokens and account details required to publish content, retrieve published media, and manage available engagement workflows on your behalf. We only use this data to provide the features you explicitly authorize.
When you add a YouTube video to Video Viewer, we store the YouTube video identifier, the title and language you provide, and available caption text and timing data. We may send the YouTube video identifier and requested language to our transcript provider, Supadata, to retrieve captions. YouTube playback is provided through YouTube's embedded player and remains subject to YouTube's terms and privacy policy.
Videos added to the shared Video Viewer library, along with their titles and captions, may be visible to other signed-in learners. Do not submit private information or content you do not have permission to share.
4. Sharing of Information
We do not sell your personal information. Information may be shared only when necessary to operate the service, comply with law, protect our rights, or interact with connected third-party platforms you authorize, such as YouTube, Instagram, or TikTok.
5. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. Uploaded content, creator data, and connected account information may remain stored until deleted by you or removed as part of account cleanup.
